A fully integrated campaign designed to raise awareness of preventing infection at New Cross Hospital.
The campaign avoided the bossy, bureaucratic tone of other, similar campaigns by creating a light-hearted character, Doctor Hans Clean, to spread the word. A high profile launch featured the Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, as well as Doctor Hans Clean himself! A combination of marketing literature, PR, on-site messaging and outdoor media generated a great deal of editorial locally, led by a 3 minute feature on BBC Midlands Today.
