Triumph Motorcycles appoints Cogent Elliott

Following a four-way pitch, Cogent Elliott has been appointed as the lead global creative agency for Triumph Motorcycles Limited.

Our brief is to provide creative leadership and brand development to all Triumph marketing communications worldwide including country specific national and local advertising, literature, direct mail, digital communications, dealer sales support and POS material, press packs, and launch planning.

We have already undertaken a major brand review as part of the pitch process and developed an agreed creative direction for all future communications. This work will initially be rolled out to support the launch of the much-anticipated Thunderbird in all international markets this Summer.

Communications for the launch will involve nine different language versions of all marketing material including national and dealer press ads, dealer sales support, preview brochures and creative direction for all digital communications. In addition, we are to develop specific launch support materials for distributors and dealers across the world, including window vinyls, posters, table toppers, technical ‘silent salesmen’ and freestanding POS units. A comprehensive briefing document will also be sent to all markets to ensure that dealers are fully armed to launch the vehicle efficiently, accurately and consistently across the globe.
