Back to school...

...on the 14th November 2008, Cogent Elliott will be raising money for Children in Need through a variety of 'back to school' activities.

Cogent High will be collecting charitable donations through selected timetabled lessons including Maths, English, PE and Music. Fines are to be issued to pupils breaking the school rules for unacceptable behaviour such as: an untidy school uniform; running (not walking) in corridors; late attendance etc., all kept under strict control by school prefects and staff. A tuck shop at break times and school dinners are to be served, with a loving smile, by the school’s dinner ladies, all helping to contribute towards the final sum raised for Children in Need.

The headmaster of Cogent High is proud to announce that school collections have exceeded 1000 pounds for Children in Need. She is waiting for pledged donations to arrive over the next week or so and the sum is expected to rise…
